- The Mitel Dataset 2 works generally in pairs or in conjunction with the
- Dataset 1 where it can be used as a 2-wire asynchronous 19.2k bps
- short-haul modem. It is *not* for use on public switched-dial networks.

- It is part of Mitel's SX2000 series product line and can be used in
- conjunction with a Mitel PBS and a dataset line card to provide switched
- data services to another dataset. Max link speed 19.2k bps. It is not
- Hayes/AT-Command set compatible nor will it connect to anything but
